Arjen is a seasoned retail media strategist with more than eight years of experience building and scaling high-performing retail media organizations in Europe.
At bol, the largest pure-player e-commerce platform in The Netherlands & Belgium, Arjen held multiple senior leadership roles, most recently as Managing Director of the bol Retail Media, where he carried full P&L responsibility for a multi-million-euro business delivering triple-digit growth. He led a team of approximately 125-150 professionals across Sales & Marketing, Ad Operations, Data Analytics, Product & Innovation and Tech/Engineering.
Since leaving bol.com in 2022, Arjen has worked as a freelance strategic consultant in the retail and commerce media space. Today, Arjen is a Partner at Colosseum Strategy, where he supports organizations across the retail media ecosystem with strategy, execution, and growth.
Arjen holds dual MSc degrees in International Business Administration and International Public Management & Policy from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
